Women's ESL Teachers & Helpers for Spring 2026

End of Year Celebration

The ESL and Children's programs are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of students and their teachers at PLI's End of Year Celebration on April 30, 2026. Join PLI in celebrating women and children involved in these programs as we show them that God delights in them and that He has a plan for their lives. We will also use this time to thank them for choosing us and to give them honor for their hard work. Brand new volunteers can sign up using the form linked below. Returning volunteers can fill out the Community Event Volunteer Form through PLI's Volunteer Connect Portal.

2026 PLI Benefit

PLI is excited to announce our upcoming benefit, Strangers No More: Co-laboring for the Kingdom, on May 9, 2026. We are looking for small groups and individuals to partner with us through volunteering as we celebrate 14 years of ministering to Muslims in Southwest Houston. English Camp

PLI is hosting our 6th annual summer English Camp June 22-26, with June 24 set aside for training all volunteers. This is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the elementary-aged kids in the PLI community. Partner with us to sow seeds of Biblical truth into the kids’ lives through games, crafts, and English lessons centered around this year’s theme: created.

URGENT NEED: 1 Teacher & 6 Class Helpers for varying morning classes (9:15-11:45 AM) | 1 Teacher & 6 Class Helpers for varying afternoon classes (12:15-2:45 PM). PLI serves individuals and families in the community through 5 different programs: after-school, children's, ESL, men's, and women's. We recruit individuals to volunteer in our various programs to promote deeper relationships between volunteers and the community.
