Church Mobilization Specialist
Daniel was born in New Hampshire and earned a degree in English education from Wheaton College in Illinois. After moving to Houston through the Teach for America program, he was deeply impacted by the challenges he encountered and began wrestling with the question of whether education—and, more importantly, faith in God—could provide lasting hope.
Daniel and his wife, Karen, first met at Lee High School, and later shared a memorable double date with Michael and Danielle Obringer at their school prom. Today, they are in the process of adopting two boys, which has shifted their family dynamic as their son, Samuel, transitions from being an only child to a middle child.
One of Daniel’s greatest passions is seeing the church mobilized to live out its calling as the hands and feet of Jesus in the very cities where God has placed them.
