Michael Obringer

Michael graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, God led him to teach Math and Physics for 3 years at Wisdom High School in Houston, TX. During Michael's time teaching at Wisdom, he developed a desire to support immigrant and refugee families more holistically.

He and his wife, Danielle, helped establish PLI in 2012 and he currently serves as Executive Director overseeing the finances, human resources, and strategy. Michael works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the stability and growth of the organization. He is passionate about pursuing justice and empowering others. In his free time, he enjoys reading, retro video games, strategic board games, and working in his yard.
