Tim Gawne

Tim Gawne grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University. He has built a 30-year career in the energy industry, specializing in crude oil and refined products trading, logistics, and strategy, and has held leadership roles at several global and domestic firms.

Tim first became involved with Prestige Learning Institute in 2021, serving as a volunteer in the Men’s Community. He has seen firsthand the transformative impact PLI has on the lives of immigrant families. In 2025, he joined PLI’s Board of Directors, deepening his commitment to the ministry’s mission.

Tim and his wife, Jennifer, are active members of Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas. They enjoy spending time together, and Tim especially loves watching college sports and fishing.
